6 Days Trekking Tour to Tibetan Sacred Mountain: Mt. Yala



Day 1: Xinduqiao- Jiagenba

Fly to Kangding│ drive to Xinduqiao to check-in and have lunch│ drive to visit Jiagenba for Tibetan watchtowers(diaolou) and fortress-like houses│ drive back to Xinduqiao for dinner

Day 2: Xinduqiao - Tagong - praying stone pile- Himalayan Vulture Spring

Drive to visit Tagong Monastery│ drive to praying stone pile│ start 3-day pilgrimage trekking to Mt. Yala│ trek 5-6 hours to alpine lake and Himalayan Vulture Spring│ dining and camping

Day 3: Himalayan Vulture Spring- Himalayan hot spring

Trek 4-5 hours across Damila Pass│ arrive at Himalayan hot spring to have a bath and get rest│ dining and camping

Day 4: Himalayan hot spring- Zhara Yuchuo Lake

Trek to Zhara Yuchuo Lake,enjoy " Shabala"life│ see the natural beauty along the trip│ dining and camping

Day 5: Zhara Yuchuo Lake - Bamei Town- Xinduqiao

Trek 3-4 hours to Karkog Valley, cross Karkog Pass to Bamei Town and see the Tibetan house building│ Tibetan culture and architecture introduced by Nurbu, our local guide│ have lunch in Bamei Town│ drive back to Xinduqiao│ farewell party

Day 6: Xinduqiao- Chengdu

Drive to Chengdu, then finish the trip

We use 4W jeep to transfer in the trip. For accomodation, we will camp on the mountains for 3 nights and stay at the local hostel for 2 nights. As for tour guide, our local guide Nurbu has 10-year experience in mountain trekking tour and also knowledgeable in Tibetan culture. Don't worry so much but enjoy your 6-day trip.
